By worshipping You and by serving You
I shall totally forget the human in me.
O Beautiful One,
You are the Lord Supreme of my dreams.
My mind, which acts like a restless wind,
Must surrender to You
And listen to Your Command.
I know victory and defeat,
Success and failure,
Are mere childish games.
Knowing this perfectly well,
I shall all night and day
Sing Your Victory-Song.

See individual song practice recordings below each score.
Note from Parvati: Most of the English-Bengali songs from this and surrounding days were largely assigned to Chidananda’s Group. The 2nd Songbook of Chidananda’s Group songs has not yet been published. I do not recall why the Enthusiasm-Awakeners song group, which is dedicated solely to Sri Chinmoy’s compositions in the English language, ended up learning the English portion of these Bengali-English paired songs — but I am glad we did! They are exceptionally beautiful. Also, we did not normally learn “name” songs — but our brothers, Savysachi and Ashrita, are claimed universally as brothers to all students of Sri Chinmoy, so the two songs below are appropriate exceptions 🙂

Notes:
- Selection: Sri Chinmoy composed over 23,000 songs in his lifetime (1931-2007), this selection of 1,528 songs is specific to: (a) songs composed by Sri Chinmoy in English during the period of December 1999 to September 2007. And (b) which the Enthusiasm-Awakeners song group learned and performed during that same period.
- Recording quality: these recordings are only for learning purposes. Many, especially the ones below the individual scores, were recorded on an old, portable cassette tape and have some distortion.
- 90-day Challenge: The “90-days-for-90-Years” project was created in May 2021 to honour and commemorate 90 years since the birth of Sri Chinmoy. Each of the 90-days has an average of 17 songs per day, and culminated on August 27, 2021. See background story on the project.
- “E.A.#s”: It is important to note that these numbers have no significance beyond the Enthusiasm-Awakeners (E.A,) song group and this project. These numbers indicate the order that the Enthusiasm-Awakeners learned the songs. The numbers next to the song title is the related to the specific songbook they are published in (see the Songbook reference at the bottom of each score).
